On Oct.16, Iranian Parliamentary Speaker Ali Larijani will visit Geneva to attend the 121st Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), the Iranian Mehr news agency reported.
Larijani will be accompanied by 7 representatives of the Iranian parliament. Larijani will also have tête-à-tête meetings with parliamentary speakers of other countries.
About 153 countries are the members of the Inter-Parliamentary Union. The IPU holds two meetings a year to solve different issues and its 121st assembly will be held in Geneva on Oct.17-19.
