Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Al-Muallim met today with the Iranian president in Tehran, the Iranian Mehr news agency reported.
"Tehran-Damascus relations are developing in all fields and regional changes are in favor for Iran and Syria," Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said at the meeting with Al-Muallim.
Al-Muallim, in turn, said Syria and Iran have solid cooperation and no force can damage their ties.
Al-Muallim visited Iran Nov. 4.
During his two-day visit, he met with Iranian officials, including his Iranian counterpart Manouchehr Mottaki. The visit focused on the development of bilateral relations, and regional and international issues.
