Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari said Monday evening that the Navy monitors any movement of and increase in the military power of the enemies, IRNA reported.
Addressing a group of theologians of the Qom seminary, he voiced the readiness of the Navy to counter any possible threats by the enemies.
The Navy tactics are defensive and are based on deterrent power, he said, adding that the Iranian Navy will confront the enemies powerfully as soon as they want to attack the country's water borders or resources.
