Iran's About Elly along with 68 other films have been selected as nominees for the best foreign language film at this year's 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards, Press TV reported.
The film, which highlights the relations between Iranian men and women and presents a dramatic depiction of love, won the Silver Bear award of the 59th International Berlin Film Festival.
Asghar Farhadi's successful production has gained two awards at the third annual Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSA) and the Founders Award for Best Narrative Feature of the 8th Tribeca Film Festival in the US.
This year's Golden Globe Awards has a consideration list of 173 feature films, 15 animated feature films, 133 television series, 33 mini-series or telefilms and a record 69 foreign language films.
Nominations for the 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards will be announced on Tuesday, December 15, 2009.
The 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards will be broadcast live coast to coast in the US on January 17 from The Beverly Hilton.
