Today Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has launched his official visit to Turkmenistan, the Iranian Mehr news agency reported.
Following his Tajikistan visit, Ahmadinejad pays a two-day official visit to Turkmenistan. During his Tajikistan visit, the president held meetings with the Tajik officials. The sides signed 5 documents on development of the cooperation.
Ahmadinejad is expected to attend the opening ceremony of the second gas pipeline that will export Turkmen gas to Iran Jan.6.
