Tehran University professor died as a result of blast of a distance-controlled explosive device in Tehran, Press TV reported.
Professor Massud Mohammadi was killed by a mine trap installed on a motorcycle.
The blast occurred near professor's house in the Geytarie region in the north of Tehran.
