An earthquake measuring 4 on the Richter scale jolted the Garash town in the Fars province of Iran this morning, Irna reported.
The Seismological Center under the Tehran University's Geophysics Institute registered the quake at 00:50 local time.
There are yet no reports on the number of possible casualties or damage to properties by the quake.
