Number of divorces increased in Iran

The Iranian Civil Status Registration Organization's report says that the number of divorces increased by 2.13 percent and marriages- decreased by 5. 2 percent in the 11 months of 2009 ( in Iran new year begins March 21) compared to 2008, Ilna reported.

Age of women and men that married was 20-24 years, and the divorced' age: women 29-30 years and 34-35- men.

During the report period, 1, 240, 259 people were born and 359,723 people- died in Iran. About 804, 628 married and 114, 674 people - divorced in the country.

The birth rate increased by 5.3 percent and mortality decreased by 5.6 percent.
