Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko will visit Iran in October, Iranian Ambassador to Belarus Abdullah Husseini was quoted as saying by the Fars news agency.
During the visit, Lukashenko will discuss bilateral cooperation in the trade, engineering, industrial and energy sectors.
The Jafir oil field will be put into commercial production during the visit.
Jafir is located 30 kilometers from the Azadegan Field and 70 kilometers southwest of the Ahvaz Field. The contract to develop the field was signed between Belarusneft and the Iranian National Oil Company in 2007.
