The protesters are voicing the slogan "Death to Israel," "Death to America," and "Freedom to Quds." They are accusing Israel of grave crimes against the Palestinian people.
After the Islamic Revolution in 1979, Iran declared the last Friday of Ramadan as Quds Day to demonstrate solidarity with the Palestinian people. Every year since, Muslims all over the world have held rallies on this day to protest Israel.
