IRI envoy to IAEA said here Monday most important point in Yukia Amano's report is that after 7 years of intensive inspections no sign of any proof indicating deviation towards militarism has been observed in Iran's nuclear facilities, IRNA reported.
Focusing on UN nuclear watchdog's latest report on Iran's nuclear program, Ali-Asghar Soltaniyeh added in an exclusive interview with IRNA, "Of course, this report has put under question the technical and expert level credibility of the agency due to repeating some parts of the UN Security Council resolution word for word."
Soltaniyeh said, "In some parts of this report reference is made to the numerous inspections of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in our country, which has two important messages. Iran has been quite successful in scientific, technological and enrichment activities, and all these activities have taken place under the supervision of the agency."
He said, "The parts marked with negative expressions indicating lack of cooperation on Iran's part are merely related to the Security Council's illegal demands and those beyond the barriers of the NTP agreement."
Iran's ambassador to the agency emphasized, "Meanwhile, the NAM Work Group has begun preparing its pro-Islamic Republic communiqué, which would be read out at the IAEA next week."
