Iran's army forces are well prepared to fight any likely attack by enemies, IRNA reported.
Brigadier General Ahmad-Reza Pourdastan made the remarks Wednesday evening at a ceremony in Shiraz in Fars province, south of Iran.
He said Iranian armed forces are quite capable of crippling the country's enemies.
The commander further stressed that the Iranian army forces are capable of strongly defending the country's sovereignty.
Having failed in hard warfare methods against the country, enemies of Iran have now adopted fresh strategies by focusing on the 'soft' war, he noted.
