A population census was held in Iran from Oct. 24 to Nov. 13. The lists of citizens include those who were absent during the census on Nov. 14 -15, Secretary for the Office of Population and Labor Force Statistics and Census of the Iranian Statistics Center Taha Nourollahi was quoted by the Mehr news agency as saying.
According to the preliminary results, the population of Iran is 75 million. The final census results will be announced soon, he said.
