Libya is making effort to establish friendly relations, cultural ties in particular, with the Islamic Republic of Iran, culture minister of Libya's ruling National Transitional Council (NTC) Abdul Rahman Habil said, ISNA reported.
Habil added that the Muslim Iranian people are Libyans' brothers, hoping that Tehran and Tripoli would deepen bilateral relations.
He said Libya's NTC is planning for fostering media cooperation with all nations including the Islamic Republic of Iran.
