An earthquake measuring 4.3 on Richter scale jolted surrounding areas of Mousian in Iranian western province of Ilam and close to Iraqi border on Tuesday evening, IRNA reported.
According to the report of seismography center affiliated to Tehran University Geophysics Institute, the tremor occurred at 22:46 hours local time ( 18:16 hours GMT) and its epicenter was at 32.42 degrees latitude and 46.96 degrees longitude.
There is no immediate report on possible casualties or damage.
