Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, in a meeting with visiting Turkish Minister of Development Cevdet Yilmaz, said the two countries should use opportunities to deepen their brotherly ties, IRNA reported.
According to Presidential Office website on Tuesday afternoon, the president said that Tehran-Ankara relations are expanding and deepening day by day, adding that the two countries have common enemies who do not want promotion of ties between these two countries, but, undoubtedly, wisdom of Iran and Turkey will increase and expand mutual ties.
He said that both countries as well as regional countries can benefit from promotion of bilateral ties.
President Ahmadinejad referred to the recent visit of Turkish premier to Tehran and said that the visit was in direction of promotion of sincerity and friendship governing on mutual ties and very constructive decisions were taken, which open new chapters in common goals of both nations.
Cevdet Yilmaz, who is heading a large delegation of Turkish businessmen and industrialists and economic activists, said that in his meetings with Iranian officials and businessmen, a roadmap and a comprehensive working plan for expansion of relations and accelerating implementation of common agreements have been prepared.
