Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said that the progress in the upcoming talks between Iran and the Group 5+1 slated for June 18-19 in Moscow depends on creation of an atmosphere of mutual trust, IRNA reported.
Salehi made the above remarks in a meeting with the visiting former third president of the Austrian National Assembly Werner Fasslabend on Sunday in Tehran.
"In concordance with the prevailing atmosphere of mutual trust and good will, I hope we should witness progress in the trend of Iran-Group 5+1 talks," he added.
During the meeting, Salehi elaborated on the Islamic Republic of Iran's transparent diplomacy vis-à-vis its inalienable rights in making use from peaceful nuclear energy while remaining committed to international commitments.
Austrian National Assembly Third President Werner Fasslabend for his part, while expressing his gratitude for visiting Iran, emphasized that Iran's nuclear issue should be resolved through diplomatic means.
