Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that enemies of the country have long run an unfair campaign to hinder the Iranian nation's move towards the peaks of progress, FNA reported.
Addressing inauguration ceremony of a number of development projects in Iran's Western Province of Kermanshah on Monday, President Ahmadinejad cautioned that enemies of Iran are trying to make the country busy with different problems as part of their efforts to bloc Iran's progress.
"The enemy's ballyhoo aims to prevent Iran from reaching high global positions and this is an unjust effort made against the Iranian nation to present a dim image of the country (in the world)," Ahmadinejad underscored.
The remarks by Ahmadinejad came a week after Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei underscored that the Islamic Republic of Iran is today more powerful than ever before in its history.
Addressing a large crowd of people at Imam Khomeini's mausoleum South of Tehran on the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of the demise of the Founder of the Islamic Republic last Sunday, Ayatollah Khamenei pointed to Iran's achievements during the last three decades since the victory of the Islamic Revolution, and stated that one of the examples of the progress of the Iranian nation is overcoming all political, military, security and economic challenges that aimed to destroy the establishment over the past 33 years.
Iran has made huge achievements in various fields of science and technology, from nuclear knowledge to stem cell and Nano technology.
