An earthquake measuring 5.3 on Richter jolted east of Iran, RBC reported according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
Tremors were recorded at a depth of 23.1 km. The epicenter was located 86 km south-west of the city Taibad.
Any information on casualties and damage was not received.
