Iran's Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said that an Iranian delegation will attend the upcoming Mecca emergency meeting of the Organization of Islamic Conference in an effort to try to reduce the differences through dialogue and diplomacy, IRNA reported.
Foreign Minister Salehi made the remarks in a press conference in Tehran on Thursday night.
"We will meet with the Saudi officials in Mecca meeting and discuss regional issues. The Islamic Republic of Iran is determined to reduce the differences through holding dialogue and focusing on issues of mutual interest," Salehi added.
He pointed out that in case of paying more attention to common issues, there will surely be greater success.
