IRI President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his Pakistani counterpart Asif Ali Zardari discussed regional and international topics on the phone, ISNA reported.
The Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) was an independent body with great potentials but it lacked executive arms to implement the agreements, Ahmadinejad said and called for creation of necessary structures to pave the way for implementation of the NAM documents.
He also proposed foundation of a group between the parties involved in Syrian issue to lead the elements toward establishment of peace and understanding.
Zardari on his part echoed Iran's President opinions about NAM and Syria.
