Islamic Republic of Iran's Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi had separate meeting with his Russian, Omani, Japanese, Spanish and Dutch counterparts here on Thursday, IRNA reported. During his meetings, Salehi emphasized Islamic Republic of Iran's effective role in helping to settle Syria's crisis.
Foreign Minister Salehi also discussed the latest status of bilateral ties, regional developments, and important international issues during meetings with his counterparts.
In his meeting with Oman's Foreign Minister Yusuf Bin Alawai bin Abdullah, Salehi and Alawai discussed the cordial relations between the two countries and emphasized on increasing bilateral cooperation.
They also discussed regional cooperation and developments of the Middle East, particularly the Syrian crisis. Salehi and Alawai urged helping to come out of the current crisis in Syria through coordination within a political framework while preserving Syria's national sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as national unity.
