IRI President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Saturday that the obstacles created by the enemies would never damage Iranian nation's self-confidence, IRNA reported.
In an address to a ceremony to unveil seven major nano-technology projects, President Ahmadinejad said Iranian nation has the potential to stand atop of other nations.
"We believe in the capability of Iranian nation and that the enemies' efforts to marginalize Iran and create obstacles would not have the least impact on the nation's self-confidence."
He said enemies are monitoring impacts of their sanctions aimed to halt progress of the nation but to their dismay the nation with self-reliance and knowledge, would continue with progress.
"The sanctions may be effective on short run. Iranian nation got used to passing all difficulties as usual despite enemy wishes."
The higher the goals are set, the more obstacles would be thrown on the way, said the president, adding that Iranian nation should not pay attention to the obstacles and mobilize endeavors to reach highest peaks of progress.
