Fifteen EU parliamentary members will be visiting Tehran on October 27, Iranian parliament speaker's advisor on international issues, Hossein Sheikholeslam said, Mehr reported.
Sheikholeslam noted that the EU delegation will come from seven countries, which he did not disclose.
He added, that the delegation will stay in Tehran for 5 days.
Reuters reported earlier today that the European Union agreed to impose new sanctions on Iran on Monday to increase pressure over its disputed nuclear program, according to German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle.
The sanctions come amid mounting concerns over the Islamic Republic's military intentions and the failure of diplomacy to solve the atom stand-off.
