A medical team consisting of ten Iranian doctors has been sent to Baghdad to treat Iraqi President Jalal Talabani, Fars news agency reported.

According to the report, the medical team consisting of the most well-known Iranian doctors has started President Jalal Talabani's treatment at the "Al-Tibb" hospital in Baghdad.

President Talabani was hospitalized on Monday after he fell into faint. Yesterday he was reported dead, but the news was later denied.

Talabani was elected as Iraqi President in November 2010.
