Mohammad Hassan Abutorabi-Fard stressed here on Monday that the anti-Iran sanctions have paved the way for the country's scientific progress, IRNA reported.
Abutorabi-Fard made the remarks in the second seminar on Iran's scientific progress.
"Thanks to the efforts made in various fields of science, the number of scientific associations in the country has been increased by 52 percent in the past three years," he reiterated.
The lawmaker then referred to human resources and the youth talents as the main assets of the Islamic Iran which have taken great strides towards progress and development.
