Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei says the West has launched a new campaign to expand its presence in the African continent, Press TV reported.
The leader made the remarks in an address to a group of Iranian officials and the foreign participants of the 26th International Islamic Unity Conference in Tehran.
The two-day conference started in Iran's capital, Tehran, on Sunday with the presence of Shia and Sunni thinkers from 102 countries.
