Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi will pay a two day visit to Moscow on February 11 to take part in a meeting of the Russian-Iranian intergovernmental commission, Iranian Ambassador to Russia Mahmoud Reza Sajjadi told RIA Novosti today.
"The Foreign Minister will arrive in Russia on Monday and stay in the country until Tuesday", the diplomat said on Wednesday. "Earlier, Iranian media reported the Iranian Foreign Minister's visit to Russia."
Sajjadi said that Iranian and Russian specialists in the fields of energy, trade, industry and banking activity will discuss the implementation of the previously signed bilateral agreements. After the meeting, co-chairmen of the commission will sign a joint protocol which is currently being considered.
