Iran's oil production decreases by 4,000 bpd in February - OPEC

Iran's oil production in February, 2013 amounted to 3,701 tb/d, compared to 3,705 tb/d in January, 2013, data from OPEC's March Oil Market Report, based on direct communication shows.

At the same time, according to the report, data based on secondary sources shows that Iran produced last month 2,707 thousand barrels of oil per day, which is 0.2 tb/d less that in January.

Total OPEC crude oil production averaged 30.31 mb/d in February, representing a rise of 74 tb/d from the previous month, according to secondary sources.

Iran Heavy oil sold for $112.24 per barrel in February, compared to $108.52 per barrel in January, according to OPEC.

Iran now holds 4th place after Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Kuwait, among OPEC's top oil producing countries.
