The candidates for presidential elections in Iran will each have their limited minutes on television and radio, IRINN reported.
In total, each candidate will have 420 minutes on television, and 216 minutes on the radio.
A candidate would be allowed to have two 30-minute autobiography films to be broadcasted on Iran's "Kanal 1" channel.
On country's "Kanal 2" channel, each candidate would also be allowed to have a 45-minute dialogue on a news programme.
"Kanal 3" would allow each candidate to have a 1-hour q&a session (questions and answers) with the audience. "JameJam" tv channel can also be used for q&a for 1 hour, for each candidate.
Iran's "Kanal 4" can be used by each candidate for having a round-table with experts for 45 minutes each.
Official registration of candidates for Iran's upcoming presidential elections started on May 7, and finished on May 11. Overall, close to 700 people submitted their registrations for the upcoming presidential elections. Of that number, 36 people are politicians or well-known figures in the country.
From May 12-16, Iran's Guardian Council will look into the each candidate, and determine whether a candidate is eligible for participating.
If a candidate, for some reason is not eligible for participating in the elections according to the Guardian Council, then from May 17-21, that candidate will have time to protest the decision.
IRINN reported that if the Guardian Council approves less than 5 people for the election race, then those hopefuls would be able to have "one-on-one" debates on television. If the number of hopefuls turns out to be more than 5, then they will hold round-table debates. Such debates were first held during the 2009 elections.
Iran's Interior Ministry will unveil the names of the candidates which are competitive enough to participate in the elections on May 22-23. After the candidates have been determined, the pre-election campaigns would begin on May 24, and end on June 12.
Iran will hold the 11th presidential election on June 14, 2013.
The voters will select the successor of the current President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who is not able to participate in the elections for the third term according to the country's constitutional laws.
The president of Iran is elected for a four-year term in a national election and the Guardian Council vets the candidates for qualifications.
