Iranian presidential candidate Mohsen Rezaee has said that he will increase cash subsides to 1.1 million rials (about $90) and will replace the forced active service with professional active service, IRIB News reported.

Currently, 455,000 rials is paid each month to every Iranian as cash subsidy.

Rezaee noted that "political and security affairs are overdeveloped in the country, while economy is underdeveloped," he said.

He said that he had told in the previous presidential elections in 2009 the country might face dangerous situations.

"Increasing cash subsidies will not add to the inflation rate if domestic production is boosted simultaneously," he noted.

Rezaee also said that he will replace the obligatory active service with the professional active services through making coordination with the Supreme Leader, the National Security Council, and the Armed Forces.

Referring to re-establishing relations with the U.S., he said that he will consult with the Supreme Leader in this regard.

Rezaee referred to Israel as the biggest barrier on the way of amending ties with the United States.

"If all Palestinian refugees come back home and a referendum is held there, the main barrier will be removed," he noted.

Previously, Rezaee argued that the fall in the value of the national currency shouldn't have happened, adding it is possible to fix the economy and restore the value of rial through proper planning.

He also argued that the fall in the value of the national currency shouldn't have happened in the first place, adding it is possible to fix the economy and restore the value of rial through proper planning. He, however, warned that it cannot happen overnight.

Improving living standards of people alongside with maintaining national sovereignty is the political doctrine of Rezaei, the Tabnak website reported earlier.

Mohsen Rezaei is the former commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the current Secretary of the Expediency Council.

Iran will hold the 11th presidential elections on June 14, 2013. The voters will choose the successor of the current President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who is not able to participate in the elections for the third term according to the country's constitutional laws.

The president of Iran is elected for a four-year term in the national elections and the Guardian Council vets the candidates for qualifications.
