Iranian telecommunication companies refuse to remove bts (Base transceiver station) from the schools despite the requests from Education Ministry's officials, Fars news agency reported.

According to the report, the Education Ministry of Iran has repeatedly requested the telecommunication companies to remove the bts from the schools, due to their harmful effects on students' health.

Recently, Iranian deputy Minister of Education, Ahmad Heydari has submitted a letter to Deputy Minister of Communication and Information Technology repeating the request.

According to the report, complications such as frequent forgetfulness, low fatigue, sleepiness during the course, severe headaches, and tremors have been reported as negative effects from which Iranian students suffer.
