Moscow welcomes the readiness of Iran to discuss the prospect of stopping the 20-percent enrichment of uranium in the country within the frameworks of the negotiation process with the P5+1, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told journalists on Monday, RIA Novosti reported.
"Our Iranian colleagues are ready to negotiate with the P5+1 to discuss stopping of the 20-percent enrichment of uranium. This is a very important step," the Minister said.
According to him, it is necessary for the P5+1 to be able to adequately respond to this.
