By Umid Niayesh- Trend: Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif has started his visit to France, Iranian State IRINN TV reported on Nov. 5.

Zarif will participate in the General Conference of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in Paris.

The 37th Session of the General Conference of UNESCO will open in Paris on November 5. The session brings together representatives of all UNESCO member states every two years at the organization's headquarters in Paris.

The Iranian FM will meet director General of UNESCO, Irina Bokova on the sidelines of the event.

Zarif also is scheduled to meet his French counterpart Laurent Fabius today.

He will discuss bilateral issues as well as Iran-P5+1 talks with senior French officials during the visit.

The Iranian FM will leave Paris for Geneva tomorrow after his speech at the General Conference of UNESCO.

Zarif will participate in the new round of P5+1 and Iran negotiations which are scheduled to be held in Geneva on November 7-8.

Iran and the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany known as the P5+1, held a new round of talks on Tehran's nuclear energy programme in Geneva on October 15 and 16.

Both sides announced that the negotiations were held in a positive atmosphere.
Iran submitted a new proposal to the P5+1 during the meetings.
