Some high-ranking European officials and delegations as well as foreign ministers will visit Iran in the new future, Iranian deputy Foreign Minister for European and American Affairs Majid Takht-e Ravanchi said without getting into details, ISNA news agency reported on Jan.8.

He went on to say that, the Geneva deal changed confrontation policy to cooperation policy towards Iran.

Iran and the P5+1 reached a nuclear agreement on Nov. 24. Iran has agreed to curb some of its nuclear activities for six months in return for sanctions relief.

Takht-e Ravanchi underlined that Iran welcomes boosting relations with other countries based on mutual respect and equal position, emphasizing that the countries should not interfere in the internal affairs of each other.

Comparing the Iran's current position with its last year's position in global arena, Takht-e Ravanchi said that those who conduct Iranophobia and Shia-phobia campaigns are loosing their influence.

"These groups admit that regional issues can not be resolved without Iran's presence," he said, adding that they ask Iran to take an active role in resolving the Syria crisis as well as Lebanon issues.
