One of the main culprits involving in the assassination of the attorney of Zabol city in Iran's Sistan and Baluchestan province has been arrested, the Mehr News Agency quoted the province's general attorney, Ebrahim Hamidi, as saying on January 26.
The culprit was arrested in the city of Mashhad, in northeastern Khorasan Razavi province, the official said.
To date, 11 persons have been arrested regarding the assassination case, he noted.
Early morning on Nov. 6, Mousa Nouri, the attorney of Zabol city, was gunned down.
The attack happened approximately at 7:45.
Nouri was going to work by car, when unknown people cut his car off on the road, near a local clinic, and then opened fire at the car, using Kalashnikovs. Both Nouri and his driver were killed.
General attorney of the Sistan and Baluchestan province, Ebrahim Hamidi said that the terror attack was carried out by unknown people, adding that local police and Iranian intelligence are investigating the incident.
