Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian left Tehran for Moscow Saturday night for consultations with Russian officials, IRNA reported.

Amir-Abdollahian is scheduled to meet the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Envoy for Middle East Affairs Mikhail Bogdanov and consult with him on regional developments, the situation in West Asia and North Africa, among other issues of mutual interest.

Amir-Abdollahian and Bogdanov are also going to exchange ideas on how to find a diplomatic solution for the Syrian crisis, and the various dimensions of the Ukraine crisis.
