Tehran has previously used missiles to defend itself, and will do it again if necessary, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said on March 2, Iran's ISNA News Agency reported.
However, he emphasized that the country's missile industry is solely for defense purposes.
Iran's president further slammed the killing of Iranian nuclear scientists.
Rouhani also once again stressed that Iran's nuclear activities are entirely peaceful.
"The International Atomic Energy Agency has found no diversion in Iran's nuclear activities during thousands of hours of inspection," he explained.
The president added that industrial nations try to maintain their domination through their control and monopoly of key technologies.
"Industrial nations have violated the Non-nuclear Proliferation Treaty by refusing to provide peaceful nuclear know-how to other signatories," he said.
