Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said that the new round of nuclear negotiations with the P5+1 group of countries will be tougher and more serious.
Zarif made the remarks at a joint press conference with his visiting Belarusian counterpart Vladimir Makey.
"Iran is not expecting anything drastic to be achieved from the talks, but is hoping for progress on a range of issues including the removal of sanctions," Zarif explained.
He further expressed Iran's readiness for trust-building.
"Iran regards nuclear weapons against Islamic laws and will not change its view on the issue," he added.
Makey, for his part, hoped that a nuclear deal could contribute to the expansion of economic ties with Iran.
