Baku, Azerbaijan, March 17

By Rahim Zamanov - Trend:

The presence of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA( in Iran can expand Tehran and Seoul's cooperation in technical, trade, and industry areas, Iranian Minister of Industries, Mines and Trade Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh said on March 17, Iran's Mehr News Agency reported.

Cooperation between South Korean Kia Motors Company and Iranian car manufacturer SAIPA is only acceptable on the condition of exporting the products, Nematzadeh said.

"The quality of at least one third of the products should be good enough to be exported," he said.

He went on to note that Iran is willing to benefit from the South Korea's technical and engineering services in the shipping sector.
