At least 18 people were killed and several others injured in the explosion of a dynamite warehouse in the southern Yemeni city of Taiz on Tuesday, witnesses said, dpa reported.
Witnesses told the German Press Agency dpa that the early morning explosion destroyed three buildings near the warehouse in Yemen's second-biggest city.
