Iraqi Supreme Court decides on arrest of Muqtada al-Sadr

The Iraqi Supreme Court issued an order on detention of Muqtada Sadr, who once fought against the U.S. Army and government forces, Radio Liberty's official site in Persian language reported.  

The Supreme Court based its decision on the fact that Sadr is suspected of murdering Ayatollah Khoi's son Majid Khoi in 2003 in Najaf.

According to information currently Mugtada Sadr is in Iran.
