The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Catherine Ashton, arrived Wednesday on a visit to Jordan in the course of a regional tour, DPA reported.
She was due to have separate talks with King Abdullah II and Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh on latest Middle East developments, particularly how to remove obstacles impeding the launch of US-brokered indirect talks between Israel and the Palestinians, officials said.
