The Turkish Desk of the Qatari television channel Al-Jazeera launched in a test mode on Monday. Test broadcasting was conducted in Istanbul, the Timeturk website reported.
Al-Jazeera is an international broadcaster with its headquarters in Doha, Qatar.
The Al-Jazeera network includes a number of channels broadcasting in Arabic and English.
