Almost four in five Germans are against their country's involvement in a military intervention in Libya, according to a survey commissioned by the government and published on Tuesday, dpa reported
Of the 1,000 people questioned by pollsters Emnid, 78 per cent answered "no" when asked whether Germany should get involved militarily.
While more than 80 per cent of elder respondents objected to a Bundeswehr, or military, deployment, nearly a third of those aged 30 and under were in favour, the survey found.
