The location where the captured son of slain Libyan leader Moamer Gaddafi's trial to be held will be "resolved through consultations with the International Criminal Court (ICC), the chief prosecutor said Tuesday.

The location where the captured son of slain Libyan leader Moamer Gaddafi's trial to be held will be "resolved through consultations with the International Criminal Court (ICC), the chief prosecutor said Tuesday.

Luis Moreno-Ocampo and Deputy Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda arrived in Tripoli to meet with members of the ruling National Transitional Council and Prime Minister Abdel Rahim al-Keib to discuss the legal standards of Saif al-Islam Gaddafi's trial, DPA reported.

"The issue of where the trials will be held has to be resolved through consultations with the Court. In the end, the ICC judges will decide, there are legal standards which will have to be adhered to," Moreno-Ocampo said in a statement.

He added that Saif al-Islam and former spy chief Abdullah al-Senussi "must face justice."
