Israeli forces arrested 16 people overnight Tuesday in the West Bank, locals and Israel's army said Maan reproted
Locals in Nablus told Ma'an that Israeli soldiers raided the area and detained five men overnight. Muhammad Sadeq al-Foula, Ayman Basim al-Foula, Amir al-Amoudi, Muhammad al-Zarba and George Awwad were named as those detained.
Awwad, from the village of Awarta, is the brother of Hakim, 18, who was found guilty of stabbing to death five members of a family in a settlement last year.
Locals in Hebron said that Sundus Hisham al-Azzah, 18, and her brother Ahmad, 12, were arrested in Tel Rumeida by soldiers.
An Israeli army spokeswoman said that seven people were arrested in Nablus, five in the Hebron district, two in Qalandia, one in Tubas and one in Jenin.
