Opposition: There are camps of Kurdish militants in Syria

Leader of the Syrian movement Muslim Brotherhood Riyadh Shufka said there are militant camps of terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), Turkish newspaper Zaman said on Wednesday, Turkish newspaper Zaman reported.

Leader of the Syrian movement Muslim Brotherhood Riyadh Shufka said there are militant camps of terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), Turkish newspaper Zaman said on Wednesday, Turkish newspaper Zaman reported.

Shufka noted that PKK camps are located near the city of Aleppo.

"Assad regime, provide the PKK with weapons and use them to fight against Turkey," Shufka says.

The conflict between Turkey and the PKK which demands the creation of an independent Kurdish state has been on-going for more than 25 years claiming over 40,000 lives. The PKK group is recognised as a terrorist organisation by the UN and the European Union.
