An Islamist militia in the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi Thursday denied speculation that it was involved in the deaths of US diplomats in the city, the official Libyan News Agency (LANA) reported.
Spokesman Hani al-Mansouri told reporters that the Ansar al-Sharia Brigade had played no part in the demonstration outside the US consulate in the city, LANA said, DPA reported.
