At least six people were killed Wednesday when an ammunition depot exploded in eastern Lebanon, security sources said, reported dpa.
The cause of the blast was not immediately known, but caused the collapse of a nearby house.
Following the explosion, Hezbollah militants cordoned off the site and blocked access to the area, said witnesses.
The blast occurred in a mountainous area in Nabi Sheet, a region near the ancient city of Baalbeck, controlled by the Shiite movement Hezbollah.
